NAMAST'AY IN BED TANK (WEARING S) | WET LOOK LEGGINGS (WEARING XS) | JACKET | HAT1. Avo
One of my favorite places to grab lunch or happy hour on the patio, this completely plant-based restaurant features a seasonally rotating menu with inventive vegetarian dishes that are full of flavor and do not contain any processed foods. Residing in a large shipping container, the indoor portion of the restaurant is teeming with natural light and (my favorite) a living wall behind the bar. Don't leave without trying one of the infamous AVOcado margaritas!
My go-to dish: Pad Thai
2. Chaatable
The best vibes - vibrant pops of color, festive music and beautiful decor (complete with a bangle bracelet wall) - that immediately exudes a sense of "not your typical Nashville restaurant, Chaatable offers traditional Indian streetfood with a modern twist. Ask for the vegetarian menu and be completely prepared to swoon (it's HUGE!), and order as many shareable plates as the table can handle. Everything on the menu is amazing!
My go-to dish: Go Be Awesome (Cauliflower Masala), also a fan of the Hand It Over and the Build-A-Bhel (both pictured below)
2. Hathorne
Located in a former fellowship hall, Hathorne boasts a spacious and inviting aesthetic with repurposed church pews and beautiful exposed beams. Hathorne is opened for dinner only, with the exception of brunch on Sundays. While the menu has a variety of options for meat-eaters, the array of vegetable offerings is divine. From crispy goat cheese (if your merely vegetarian) to shaved Brussel sprouts and grilled acorn squash, the small vegetable plate options are perfect for sampling and sharing. Worth noting is the expansive patio for sunnier months ahead!
My go-to dish: Grilled Acorn Squash and Fried Cauliflower
Hope these 3 delicious eats inspire you to take a trip to West Nashville this weekend and indulge in some of my favorite dishes!
